The Thorpe Salvin Cross

A replica of the Roseworthy Cross? (which is 10th century)
How old though?
Modern?
Victorian?
Medieval?
Mid Tenth Century? (930-940AD)

Even odds on modern or victorian.

On the Roseworthy Cross the base
is different - square and squat.
This is rough and rounded, but it
stops it from falling over.

Either due to the size of the cross
Christ has no hands - or it is damaged.
Similarly the cross ring is not made
from the 3 stringed braid which the
Roseworthy Cross is.
The cross ring is 4mm thick.
The figure of Christ is also shorter in the leg.
