Pontefract Deanery Plan

Our deanery plan has got nowhere very slowly. It was as I forecasted. The Ugley Vicar in chelmsford diocese started his deanery plan about the same time as us - it seems like it has taken three years already. You can read all about it here and I commend it to you. His analysis is spot-on, and what deanery plans fail to do is address the issue of too many churches and too few clergy to staff them.
